Where do you post to?

We post to the UK (postage free), the USA, Canada and the EU. Please email if you are from another country and would like to purchase a painting or a print: paulalexbarnes@outlook.com or contact me via my instagram page.

When will I receive my package?

Paintings will be posted within 1-3 days of purchase from Aberdeen in Scotland. Prints will take an additional 2-3 days as they are ordered from a professional printer in Glasgow. All packages are insured for their purchase price and sent by tracked and signed shipment using Royal Mail. It takes around 3-5 days for UK delivery, 5-7 days for EU delivery, 7-10 days for USA and Canada delivery and 12-21 business days for other international destinations. Customs processing can affect the delivery time.

What is your return and exchange policy?

You can return your product for a store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method within 15 days of receiving your order.

How do I return or exchange?

Send an email to paulalexbarnes@outlook.com with your order number and the products you'd like to exchange or return, and we'll contact you to complete things.

How long does it take to complete a return?

Once we receive your package, it will take 3 - 5 business days to process the return. It takes about 5-10 business days to appear on your credit card or Paypal statement.

Can you explain your policy on international shipping?

We are not responsible for any duty/import/taxes/customs or other charges you may incur. We do not refund postage for lost, unclaimed or undeliverable packages. If a package is returned as undeliverable or unclaimed, it is the customers responsibility to follow-up with the postal carrier. Please make sure your shipping address and phone number is correct when you place your order.

Certificates of Authenticity and Edition Numbers:

Prints have a limited edition quantity in each size. Each print comes with a unique certificate of authenticity. Paintings are signed within the painting, and on the back with the title and date.

Will the work be ready to hang?

Paintings are supplied as described (e.g. on heavy paper, board, or cradled wood). You will need to get paper and board paintings framed. Cradled wood paintings may be easily hung via the top frame or you can add the usual string at the back.

Prints are supplied flat or in a tube and will need to be framed.

What materials do you use?

I usually work with acrylic or oil paint on a textured plaster background prepared on wood or board. Please see each painting for specific details.
